When wandering through Episode II's slick, sci-fi future, you'll still encounter enemies as entities visible on the screen. You can either attempt to avoid, engage, or ensnare them in a trap that you can activate nearby in some cases. You'll have to be ready to fight more often than not, as your foes are rarely parked with enough wiggle room to truly bypass them. Fortunately, the battle system has gone through some refinement, affording you a wide spread of options that you can use to fell even the most difficult of foes.

Value. Worth watching some of the other episodes multiple times, but the ending may well be worth watching once.
Enjoyment: Decent action, and a fairly complicated story make this one fun to watch multiple times. Abel'sw ability to switch from a highly proficient vampire hunter to a bungling idiot, is entertaining to watch, and makes this anime worth trying.
everything is excellent except the story/ending =(
i don't know what the storyboard ppl were thinking and i wished they explained somethings more clearly. if they did explain things, it would make the story a lot better
i feel excitement when watching this anime but the ending is bad but it's worth watching. i wish there is a second season because i really like this anime.

Being the first series I saw on DVD, I’m left to compare it to downloaded fansubs, but it is really a nice job. The CGI elements aren’t as integrated as you would think would be possible in this day and age, but never really distracts. The breaks into children’s book stills are nicely-drawn as well, but rarely count as ‘animation’.
Although quite average, the females are very beautiful and the males are handsome. The thing that I enjoy about this anime is that the animation never gets sloppy. It stays consistant throughout the anime.
This anime has beautiful artwork and a sweet storyline.
